A ship of 130 m long, with the maximum beam 18 m, is floating in salt water
at draughts 6.6 m fwd and 7.0 m aft. The block coefficient and the coefficient of fineness of the water plane is 0.77. Longitudinal metacentric height 150 m and the center of flotation is 2.0 m aft of amidships. Calculate how much more cargo can be loaded and in what position relative to the center of flotation if the ship is upright position on an even keel draught of 7.0 m.
